Rolls-Royce launch a new luxury car 103EX Vision Next 100 concept

Rolls-Royce launched its vision for the future at an event in London today. A program for a top-of-the-range autonomous luxury product that contains the company’s hallmarks in design, craftsmanship, and technology, the Vision Next 100 concept replies to consumers’ increasing desire to own personalized vehicles providing to their individual requirements.

The Rolls-Royce Vision Next 100 is the first-ever complete Vision Vehicle. Looking for leading into the future, the Rolls-Royce Vision Next 100 integrates a vision unbridled by technological and scientific detentions. This presented the design team's liberty to reflect the future of luxury mobility within several aspects whilst simultaneously creating a vehicle that is in tune with the brand’s worldview.

The Rolls-Royce Vision Next 100, we were attentive not to continue on the past. We wanted to be as innovative as possible and at the same time transform the design history of the marque,” declares Rolls-Royce design director Giles Taylor. The designers derived four key principles that summarize the future of luxury mobility. They are described as ‘Personal Vision’, ‘Effortless Journey’, ‘Grand Sanctuary’ and ‘The Grand Arrival’.

The Personal Vision

The Rolls-Royce Vision Next 100 one of a number of possible personal visions for the future, as the customers’ feeling, will affect the exact design of his Rolls-Royce.

In the quality of the great cars of the past, Rolls-Royce will create the framework of the future, hand-built from advanced materials and powered by a zero-emissions powertrain, while advanced manufacturing technologies will enable customers to prove themselves even more in the design of the shape, size, and outline of their personal Rolls-Royce vision.

In short, the Rolls-Royce Vision Next 100 offers to utilize envisioned advances in technology to announce the return to authentic coachbuilding, which will enlarge the customer’s lifestyle.

The Effortless Journey

Over the 105 years since her invention in 1911, the Spirit of Ecstasy modeled by artist Charles Sykes, on Eleanor Thornton — has quietly guided every Rolls-Royce and its owner. Today, the ‘Voice of Eleanor’ occupies the Rolls-Royce Vision Next 100, delivering the dream of an effortless future to owners.

Digitally connected to every perspective of the owners’ lives and the surrounding environment, ‘Eleanor’ displays their virtual assistant and driver, freeing residents of all effort through artificial intelligence. ‘Eleanor’ works intuitively to advise on routes, schedules, and options. The system prompts the user of their appointments and tasks and makes recommendations to ease any expected difficulties.

The virtual assistant directs the autonomous vehicle car when passengers are ready to travel and, whilst carrying her charges to their next destination, helpfully but makes suggestions and suggestions. And ever alert, ‘Eleanor’ safely delivers passengers to their destination, having already predicted the situation and surroundings that anticipate them.

The Grand Sanctuary

The Grand Sanctuary – aka cabin – is a futuristic handcrafted lounge atmosphere, obtained by coach doors and a clamshell canopy. As one assumes from a Rolls-Royce, the atmosphere is crafted from favorite and up-to-date materials to convey a feeling of grace and simplicity.

The centerpiece of the cabin is the sofa. Clothed in rich fabrics, it gives the impression of floating within the cover of the cabin thanks to the artful use of brightness and modern materials. Encouraged by the early regal Rolls-Royces, the designers used silk– the symbol of ultimate style– combined with wool to create a textured, ivory-colored throne upon which passengers are conveyed.

The cabin is surrounded by modern handcrafted fine-line Macassar wood paneling, sweeping over the interior from the coach door, remaining around behind the large OLED screen and up nearby the second passenger to the side of the sofa. This ensures a continuous, clean surface when the screen is annihilated.

A finely crafted analog clock that floats in a central position above the screen, which works both as a note of Sir Henry Royce’s humble beginnings as an electrical miner making electric dynamos, and of time as the latest luxury.

A final physical touchpoint within the cabin is the one-off deep-pile ivory wool carpet woven in London, which passengers can enjoy in the extensive space produced by the removal of the chauffeur.

The Grand Arrival

In the future, Rolls-Royce thinks that its powerful patrons will wish to continue projecting their power and standing with a grand arrival at their end, and the company meets this need in the decadent form.

This truth is revealed in the most exciting aspect of the Rolls-Royce 103EX powerfully represents the future of luxury, it continues constantly to the iconic similes of any true Rolls-Royce: The Spirit of Ecstasy, the Pantheon grille, the long hood, and the iconic dimensions of the entire vehicle declare the value of its precious cargo.

At 5900mm long and 1600mm tall, the concept mirrors the dimensions of today’s Phantom Extended Wheelbase, whilst the ever constant Spirit of Ecstasy grows in stature, harking back to the regal Phantoms of the 1920s. Hand-crafted by the most excellent European glassmakers of today, she drops the way to the future of luxury. She is poised atop the re-imagined, Pantheon grille with the red Double-R badge of an experimental Rolls-Royce.

The afresh released Pantheon grille is now the prow of the 103EX. It is the front of a fully contained and smooth-bottomed hull that repeats the form language of 1920’s Rolls-Royces, with its ‘boat-tail’, and within which the entire adjustment area is settled.
